My Top 10 Do’s for Getting On The Road To Recovery Faster, Fastest 😀

My Top 10 Do’s for Getting On The Road To Recovery Faster, Fastest 😀

Odds are that you are wondering how long it will take to recover from your divorce and what you can do from the position you are in NOW.

Well I have news for you 😉 here is a list of 10 things you can put into practice i.e. DO (action items) to get on the road to recovery faster.   We all know that the quickest way to recovery is to be in action mode too 😉

  1. You must be willing to ask for help, that can be tough for some people but wait this is even better – you must be willing to accept help given!! This will help you to get on the road to recovery faster;
  2. Talk about your grief with others, up to a point though (link article Sablonceau) – care here but it shall help you to get on the road to recovery faster;
  3. Information – get as much of it as possible, on the divorce process, on the emotional pulls, on the children search online (and on my site 😉 definately knowledge is a sure way in helping you to get on the road to recovery faster;
  4. Obstacles will rise, they do in real life too (?real life?!!) and here you just face them one at a time and as they arise. You are in no fit state to be a hero – you are already a heroine just by living through this & this will help you to get on the road to recovery faster;
  5. Let others know that you are not holding it together constantly, that you are off track when it the situation is too much for you re #1 will help you to get on the road to recovery faster;
  6. Very important to live out your feelings and enable them to surface, be acted out and leave you! Eventually they will and this is for sure a winner on the road to recovery faster;
  7. Accept what is, embrace it even and let it tell you things, listening to it will help you to get on the road to recovery faster;
    Whether it is your feelings, your finances, your relationship with the children, friends, parents, whatever allow yourself this emotion, and it’s repercussions on you.
  8. Ah this new reality, be grateful for it, accept that too and move on (this does not mean you have to like it!) but acceptance will help you to get on the road to recovery faster;
  9. Trust the universe that things will work out – have faith that will help you to get on the road to recovery faster;
  10. Mistakes love them and learn from them. No one is perfect and every single human being makes mistakes, but not every single being learns from them! So be one that does and this will help you to get on the road to recovery faster.

My why is to bring joy and honour to you, so that you may shine and know you are worthy of peace.

Having gone from a violent relationship (27 years) to single Mum with 4 children, I worked hard. The mind is everything and without a good mindset you can do nothing of value.

I now run my own business, have my own workshops, create my own products and live the life I make for myself. It really all took shape when I met Jay and Stuart. Twas a blessing that I would wish on every single person who is in any violence.
